OH I CAN (Oral Healthcare In Communities And Neighborhoods) Program

As part of the Urban Health Initiative (UHI) at Emory University, this project seeks to address the vast oral health disparities that exist for low income and minority families. The goal of this dental/healthcare neighborhood program is to create a community wide comprehensive oral health network in a low income and minority neighborhood to increase access to oral health education and oral health services.

Georgia Head Start Association

The Georgia Head Start Association is a statewide non-profit organization with the mission to provide education, leadership and advocacy that support Head Start programs’ efforts in delivering high quality comprehensive services to Georgia’s children, families and communities.

    • Social Media Toolkit: for partners reaching providers and mothers.
    • Toolkit for Health Professionals: This toolkit contains materials for both patient outreach and education around oral health as well as clinical resources to help integrate oral health into your practice. The toolkit has four waiting room posters, three infographics, one brochure, dental referral forms, a conversation guide, an oral health screener, and an integration workflow.
